I'M JESS.
The owner and creative brains behind the work that you will see on this website. I attended Inscape Education Group in Stellenbosch, South Africa where a BA in Digital Marketing and Communication.
I couldn't tell you my 'why' because I have too many. There are so many reasons why I do what I love. I can't tell you my why but I can tell you that the digital marketing industry is one that never stays still and never stops growing.
With every fibre of my being I hope that I never do either.
MY STORY
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
I am a 23 year old Digital Marketer originally from beautiful Zimbabwe but spent my whole life growing up in farms across Zambia. Ironic, to my current qualifications, many of which hardly had signal. As my high school career came to an end I had no intention of studying and trained to work on the yachts before COVID-19 struck, and like most people, turned my whole life around but oh, how it turned it for the better.
Little Miss 'I'm not studying', did in fact study and fell in love with all things digital creation, marketing and strategy. With a BA in Digital Marketing and Communication in one hand and a coffee in the other, I am so excited to cling to opportunities where my passion is nutured.
MY STRENGTHS
CONCEPTUALISATION
I have such strong visions when it comes to creative output, I can see an idea from miles away and take it straight off the paper and make it happen.
ADAPTABLE
While not always the most sustainable strength it comes in handy when life is giving you lemons. I am a flexible person who works effectively under pressure.
PROBLEM SOLVING
Probably me favorite pass time is critical thinking and problem solving. I love a good challenge and even more so, figuring out solutions which fuels my love for strategising.
CREATIVITY
As you will see through my portfolio, I am a creative. I soak up every chance I get to put a pen on paper or design.
RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
Working in a dynamic team that is enthusiastic, goal-driven and as passionate is my dream. I love being around people who inspire and motivate me to consistently reach for more.
STORY TELLING
I always refer to authenticity as a superpower, in a crowded market it will never let you down. My passion lies in figuring out what makes your brand special and selling your product/services based on their value more than function.
I am a born-and-bred farm girl piqued by any opportunity to get creative, involved in problem solving, making ideas come to life. I thrive off of innovative environments with motivated individuals that have a high expectation of me and encourage my process of learning, growing and strengthening my skill set. Fuelled by ideation, creativity and strong visions of client expectations I find an unexplainable joy in using my competency in the digital marketing space to showcase the full potential of ideas.
